A car and a lorry have collided on the exit slip road at Junction nine on the M40, causing traffic to stretch back to the Cherwell Services.
The Rover 45 and green Polaris Sportsman crashed on the southbound carriageway shortly before 7am.
One lane is currently blocked while the car is recovered. No one is believed to have been injured.
