Plans for a new cycle path in Carterton will be put to a leading councillor for decision next week.
Oxfordshire County Council wants to widen the footpath on the eastern side of Burford Road between Brizewood and Brize Norton Road from 1.6 metres to 3.2 metres. A white line will create space for cyclists and pedestrians.
Rodney Rose, cabinet member for transport, will be asked to approve the scheme at a transport decisions meeting at County Hall, in New Road, Oxford, on Thursday at 10am.
