DAVID Barnard, of Cherwell Avenue, Kidlington, has asked us to make clear that in recent letters (ViewPoints, July 6 and July 18) about exchanges in these pages between county council leader Keith Mitchell and Tony Augarde, he was awarding the palm of victory to Mr Mitchell, not Mr Augarde. We are happy to make this clarification.
