POLICE took to the stage to warn children about antisocial behaviour and bullying.
Officers and PCSOs from the Barton Neighbourhood Team used real issues to inspire plays at Bayards Hill Primary School, Oxford, yesterday.
In one scene, written by Pc Chloe Sutton, officers acted out a scenario where children charged other youngsters to use playground equipment.
Last October, the Oxford Mail reported how Barton officers were forced to intervene when children began profiteering from swings, climbing frames, and slides in Bonny Banks playground, Bernwood Road.
Pc Sutton said: “The aim of the plays is to educate and create awareness.”
Officers also advised pupils about road safety.
Among those taking part were, from left, PCSO George Dean, PCSO Carol Henry and Pc Andy Poole.
