THE French President Nicolas Sarkozy started the bombings in Libya but France now says that it should sit round a table, because we have shown there is no solution through force, even if it means giving Colonel Gaddafi limited power.
But you can’t trust Gaddafi and the rebels want him out.
Britain alone has spent £260m on the Libyan campaign so what’s the overall cost to everyone involved? To leave Gaddafi with limited power would mean the whole campaign was a waste of time and money, when years ago a single SAS man would have taken Gaddafi out.
