OXFORD’S bonniest baby Ceitiece Mane is set to become a model after winning the Oxford Mail Baby of the Year contest.
Mother Chalasia Brown, 20, said the four-and-a-half month old had been signed up by a modelling agency after winning the contest in May.
Yesterday, she received the prizes – a framed portrait of Ceitiece, a trophy and tickets to Disneyland Paris.
Miss Brown, of Wytham Street, South Oxford, said: “I’m very proud of him. The year before, my cousin entered and her little girl came second, so I thought ‘why not give it a go?’ And we got lucky.”
Mirza Baig, from Wantage, won the 10- to 18-month-old category, and Sophia Boyles, from Headington, won the 19- to 36-month-old category.
