A woman could lose her sight in one eye after being punched during a robbery in Rose Hill.
The 36-year-old was struck in the face by a man “several times” near the junction of Ashurst Way at about 9.30pm on Saturday, police said yesterday.
The man – described as white and wearing a hooded top and tracksuit bottoms – fled empty-handed towards Littlemore roundabout.
Det Sgt Matt Jarman said: “This was a nasty incident that has left the victim with serious, potentially life-changing injuries.”
