FOLLOWING my letter referring to the recorded telephone message beginning: “We have recently been trying to contact you regarding your recent car accident” (Oxford Mail, June 17), I have since received a postal communication from QuickPages commencing with the sentence: “With your car insurance due for renewal soon, now is the time to shop around for a better deal.”
After my phantom crash in my imaginary vehicle, I presume that I shall have to be prepared to fork out quite a lot of make-believe dosh, especially having never taken the required test.
