The Oxfordshire Geology Trust will be holding its Annual General Meeting at Oxford Town Hall on Thursday, this week. This annual event of the county's geological conservation organisation is usually held in Faringdon and is moving to Oxford for the first time this year.
Oxfordshire Geology Trust (formerly Oxfordshire RIGS Group) was launched in 2000. We are a non-profit making organisation with two main aims: To protect and conserve geological sites and our landscape, and to raise awareness of the county's rich and varied Earth Heritage and geology.
The meeting will be followed by a guided walk around central Oxford to look at the building stones of some of our most iconic architectural landmarks.
The meeting starts at 6pm in the Panel Room of Oxford Town Hall. All are welcome.
