PUPILS turned into stars of the screen to bring the message to their peers that they do not need to hit the booze to have a good time this summer.

Ten friends from Gosford Hill School, Kidlington, made a two-minute film Not A Good Look with the help of police to warn of the dangers of underage drinking.

Their efforts will be shown in schools across the Thames Valley this week.

The film shows youngsters falling foul of the law in the form of PCSOs Kayleigh George and Torran O’Dowda, pictured with the pupils, including Tiam Pari-Nejad, front. The 15-year-old said: “Making the film was fun. It might have an impact on other pupils.”

Year 10 pupils were given the first showing at an assembly on Monday.

The project is part of a BTEC project by drama pupils at the Oxford Road school.

The film also features Chantelle Vircavs, Chris Brennan, Connor Boyle, Daisy Carling-Rose, Luke Chaston, Amy Gardner and Kat Marlow. See the video at facebook.com/notagoodlook.
