Dennell Baker, 18, of Friars Wharf, Oxford, admitted having an article with a blade or point in public, namely a 15cm kitchen knife in Harlesden High Street, on November 20. Given a youth-rehabilitation order with 12 months’ supervision, 40 hours’ unpaid work and a requirement to participate in a knife-crime programme for nine days. Told to pay £85 costs.

Thomas Sabak, 30, of no fixed address, admitted assaulting a PCSO in Oxford on March 29. Jailed for 28 days due to “previous convictions for similar matters and the victim was serving the public”.

Jake Peck, 18, of Beggars Lane, Longworth, admitted possession of cannabis (Class B) and failing to comply with the requirements of a youth-rehabilitation order. Fined £35 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

Harry Smith, 22, of Beech Road, Eynsham, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on February 20 and assault causing actual bodily harm in Oxford on November 14. Given a 13-week jail term, suspended for a year, due to “the nature and seriousness of the offences and the injuries that were caused to the victims”. Also given a year’s supervision and a 12-week curfew. Excluded from Lava Ignite and Wahoo in Oxford for a year. To pay a total of £250 compensation and £85 costs.

Jason Agutter, 40, of Paradise Street, Oxford, admitted handling stolen goods, namely a debit card, in Oxford on February 19; theft of cash and items valued at £247.96 in Oxford on February 19; and commission of a further offence while subject to a community order. Original offences of shoplifting and failing to surrender to court bail. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation order and 12 months’ supervision.

Lee Bennett, 32, of Speedwell Street, Oxford, admitted shoplifting four fleece coats valued at £180 from Blacks in Oxford on January 20. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation order and nine months’ supervision.

Phillip Buckett, 35, of Cardigan Street, Oxford, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by not attending the community domestic violence programme on February 21. Given four days’ Back to Employment Activity and told to pay £50 costs.

Abdul Chaudhry, 66, of Lewell Avenue, Marston, admitted drink driving in Mortimer Drive, Oxford, on February 21, namely having 136 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Given an eight-week jail term, suspended for a year. Given 12 months’ supervision and 60 hours’ unpaid work. Banned from driving for three years and told to pay £85 costs.

Stacey Gray, 28, of Kendall Crescent, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on Boxing Day. Given an eight-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months, due to “the injuries caused and the item thrown, this was a sustained attack”. Given 12 months’ supervision and told to pay £85 costs.

Timothy Jones, 46, of Welbeck Avenue, Aylesbury, admitted assault by beating in Thame on March 15. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs.

Paul Steer, 20, of Saxton Road, Abingdon, admitted failing to comply with the conditions of licence by failing to attend supervision on March 4 and 7, and failing to surrender to court bail on March 28. Sent to a young offenders’ institution for 25 days.

Bobby Ahmed, 31, of Evenlode Tower, Oxford, convicted of using racially aggravated threatening, abusive, or insulting words or behaviour with intent to cause fear of violence in Oxford on August 20. Given 200 hours’ unpaid work and 12 months’ supervision. Told to attend a restorative justice programme for four days and pay £250 costs.

Sam Morris, 28, of Springdale, Wallingford, admitted drink driving in Shippon on March 5, namely having 44 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Fined £400, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Simon Plaisted, 24, of Knapp Close, Abingdon, admitted possession of about 2/3 grams of cannabis (Class B) in Abingdon on March 11. Fined £175, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

Adam Tamplin, 26, of Don Bosco Close, Oxford, admitted drink driving in Wootton on March 6. Namely having 121 microgrammes of alcohol in 100ml of breath, above the legal limit of 35 microgrammes. Given 160 hours’ unpaid work and told to pay £85 costs. Banned from driving for 30 months.

Connor Baker, 19, of Laburnum Grove, Didcot, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a suspended sentence by failing to report for supervision on February 22 and March 1, 8 and 15. Operational period of suspended sentence extended by six months and given a three-month curfew.

Neil Stansbridge, 32, of Upper Froyle, Alton, Hampshire, admitted driving without due care and attention on the A34 at Abingdon on August 13. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £65 costs. Given four penalty points.

Carly Billingham, 20, of Castle Close, Benson, admitted failing to comply with the requirements of a community order by failing to attend supervision on January 14. Original offences of fraud and four counts of shoplifting resentenced. Given a 24-month conditional discharge and told to pay £150 costs.
