Bike Zone owner Stuart Meanwell
THE bike riders of Oxford will have something to ring their bells about from today.
The new Bike Zone cycle shop, which also features Zappi’s Cafe, will open in St Michael’s Street.
The cafe used to be in Walton Street, Jericho, and was run by Italian cyclist Flavio Zappi.
Bike Zone owner Stuart Meanwell said: “I’ve been doing bikes in Oxford for nearly 30 years now and I’ve always been looking for decent shop space in the centre. This shop is perfect for us.”
The opening takes place at 11am today and will be attended by the Lord Mayor of Oxford, Elise Benjamin, and will feature the chance to test ride bikes.
