Morris dancers from around the country danced through the streets of Kirtlington.
The annual Lamb Ale Festival featured almost 20 Morris teams, from as far afield as Sheffield and Wakefield.
The Morris men danced in a procession through the streets, above, before splitting up and performing outside pubs and homes around the village.
The weekend celebration dates back centuries and was originally a week-long festival of merry-making.
The village also hosted a barn dance and barbecue in Kirtlington Village Hall.
Kirtlington Morris Men squire Nigel Holt said: “It was a great weekend, one of the best ever.
“The weekend is a showcase for the best in morris dancing, and it is an ancient tradition that keeps the community together.
“And, for us, it is a great way of meeting old friends, dancing together and enjoying ourselves.”
He added: “It is an old tradition that needs preserving.” Picture: Damian Halliwell
