YESTERDAY was the day Olympic organisers told us they had drained our bank accounts and will, in return, send tickets for two weightlifting sessions.
That’s if you’re lucky. Anyone who truly says they are happy to go to archery and synchronised swimming – not the best spectator sport – is lying. There is no doubt many have been left disappointed by the ‘elaborate’ ticketing system.
Hey ho, we all must get in the Olympic spirit.
