A KIDLINGTON playgroup hopes to bring families closer together with a fathers’ themed week.
The Robin Playgroup, at Edward Feild School, has been inviting dads to attend a session with their children, so they can learn more about the way they play.
Admin manager Sally Batten said they were inspired by Father’s Day last Sunday.
She said: “It’s a well known fact that dads don’t really get involved in taking children to playgroup because they have other commitments like work.”
Among those enjoying the Dad’s week was Daniel Bryars, 35.
He said: “I didn’t really know what Max got up to in the day so it was great to be able to sit and take pictures and play in the sand with him and so on.
“I would definitely recommend it to other dads.”
