Research and design consultant Joe Mansberger, who lives in Jericho, has written a verbatim account of the experience of his young American friend inside the modern British mental health care system. The Rape of Psyche is published by Chipmunk at £20 and as an e-book at £5. It incorporates original medical records and documents and has been written like a fly-on-the-wall docudrama.
