CAMPAIGNERS opposed to plans to close and demolish Temple Cowley pools have come up with the ingenious idea of turning the proposed new site for the pool at Blackbird Leys into a protected ‘town green’.
This means that developers won’t be able to touch the site.
If this succeeds, hopefully we’ll keep the very valuable amenity of our local swimming pools.
