Oxford United have been drawn at home to Cardiff City in the first round of next season's Carling Cup.
The game is scheduled to be played at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday August 9.
Championship club Cardiff just missed out on promotion to the Premier League, losing in the play-offs last month.
The Bluebirds have been without a manager since parting company with Dave Jones on May 30 in the wake of their Championship play-off semi-final defeat by Reading.
Former England captain Alan Shearer held talks with the club about the possibility of taking charge but turned down the opportunity this week.
Former West Bromwich Albion coach Roberto di Matteo, ex-Newcastle boss Chris Hughton and Watford manager Malky Mackay have also been linked with the role.
Among the other first-round ties, Swindon Town visit Bristol City, Reading travel to Charlton and Wycombe are at home to Colchester.
