* Robert Pyne, 37, of George Moore Close, Oxford, admitted failing to attend a drug assessment on March 3 and breach of a suspended sentence by commission of a further offence. Given a three-month conditional discharge and told to pay £25 costs.

* Catherine Gray, 31, of Southfield Road, Oxford, admitted shoplifting make-up valued at £26.56 from Boots in Cowley on March 8. Fined £50, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £50 costs.

* Emily Goodman, 33, of Pennywell Drive, Oxford, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxord on March 8. Fined £75, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

* Roy Walls, 46, of no fixed address, admitted using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour in Oxofrd on February 5 and 7, and being drunk and disorderly in Magdalen Road, Oxford, on March 9. Also admitted failing to comply with a requirement imposed by a police constable in Oxford on March 9, namely failing to surrender an open bottle of wine. Given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £65 costs.

* Duncan Ansell, 25, of Norwood Close, Aylesbury, admitted making off without payment for £22.68 of food and drink in Thame on August 8, and possessing three deal bags of cannabis (Class B) in Aylesbury on August 23. Given a six-month conditional discharge, fined £125, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Also made to pay £11.34 compensation.

* Nicky Thorp, 24, of Clover Lane, Aylesbury, admitted making off without payment for £22.68 of food and drink in Thame on August 8 and £10.01 of fuel in Aylesbury on August 23. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge, £85 costs and £21.35 compensation.

* Emil Militaru, of Salt Hill Drive, Slough, admitted shoplifting DVDs and computer games valued at £283.94 from Sainsbury’s and going equipped for theft on March 23 in Abingdon. Jailed for six weeks due to “high level of planning, recent convictions and a caution for similar matters”.

* Jeremy McFadden, 51, of Sheldon Heath Road, Birmingham, admitted shoplifting three bottles of wine and an Easter egg from Test in Magdalan Street, Oxford, on March 24. Fined £100 and a £15 victims’ surcharge, deemed payable by detention in the courthouse until the end of the day.

* James Lennon, 37, of Causeway, Banbury, admitted taking an Iveco van without consent in Banbury on February 18 and making off without payment of £103.73 of fuel and driving without insurance in Oxford on February 23. Also admitted committing a further offence while subject to a suspended sentence. Five other offences taken into consideration. Jailed for eight months and told to pay £310.22 compensation. Banned from driving for six months.

* Karl Barrett, 24, of Redbridge Hollow, Oxford, admitted taking a Ford Escort without consent between November 16 and 19 in Oxford. Given a 12-week jail term, suspended for six months. Excluded from Cowley Marsh for six months.

* Aaron Pullen, 19, of Astley Road, Thame, admitted assault by beating in Thame on February 5. Told to do 100 hours’ unpaid work.

* Kafayat Sarumi, 39, of The Slade, Oxford, admitted two counts of wilfully assaulting, ill treating, neglecting, abandoning or exposing a child in a manner likely to cause her unnecessary suffering or injury in Oxford on October 19 and 25. Jailed for 16 weeks “because of the seriousness and vulnerable victim”.

* Liam Strachan, 20, of Fernhill Close, Tiddington, admitted failing to attend a follow-up drug assessment in Oxford on January 19 and shoplifting a pepper steak slice, a sausage roll and three bottles of Strongbow valued at £11.42p from Sainsbury’s in Thame on January 28. Given a six-month conditional discharge.

* Forest Hall, 37, of Marston Road, Marston, admitted aggravated vehicle taking, driving while unfit through drugs and driving without insurance in Oxford on December 11. Given a six-month drug-rehabilitation requirement and 12 months’ supervision. Told to pay £300 compensation and banned from driving for 28 months.

* Aaron White, 19, of no fixed address, admitted having an article with a blade or point, namely a knife, in Oxford on January 29. Given six months’ supervision and told to do 60 hours’ unpaid work. All told to do five days’ ‘education, training and employment activity’. Made to pay £40 costs.

* Mark Sinclair, 23, of Kersey Crescent, Speen, Newbury, admitted shoplifting food valued at £25.66 from One Stop Stores in Abingdon on March 23. Also admitted being drunk and disorderly in Hythe Brdige Street, Oxford, and St Aldate’s, Oxford, on March 7 and 17; and failing to surrender to court bail on March 23. Fined £350 and a £15 victims’ surcharge.

* Jake Chambers, 19, of Falcon Close, Oxford, admitted assault by beating in Oxford on March 12. Fined £100, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs.

*Alan Young, 47, of Mylne Square, Wokingham, admitted driving without due care and attention on the M40 near Wheatley on November 26. Fined £250, a £15 victims’ surcharge and £85 costs. Given four penalty points.
