PASSENGERS travelling from Heathrow to Oxford had to be cut out of their coach after a crash with a lorry on the M40 today.
The crash, involving an X70 Airline coach, happened shortly before 10am near junction two at Beaconsfield.
The coach driver was injured, but all 13 passengers escaped unscathed.
Fire crews from Buckinghamshire were called to the scene, and had to cut open the coach’s door to free the passengers.
Watch manager Andy Maloney said: “The impact of the collision damaged the coach’s front exit door. It was not open and there wasn’t enough room for people to get out.”
Passengers completed their journey to Oxford on a replacement coach.
