Landlady Satinder Kaur Ahluwalia, of London Road, Bicester, has been prosecuted for failing to comply with an improvement notice.
The prosecution by Cherwell District Council concerned a property that was being used as flats at 40 London Road. They both contained hazards relating to fire, food safety, falls on stairs and domestic hygiene.
She was fined £1,000 at Banbury Magistrates’ Court. She was also ordered to pay £250 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
