A man in his 70s has died after a head-on collision earlier today on the A40.
The man died at the scene, near Witney, after his Vauxhall car crashed into a van. Another van was also involved.
The driver of the first van was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital, Oxford, with suspected serious lower leg and chest injuries.
An air ambulance was called to the scene.
The A40 is at a standstill around Witney following the incident and road closures, including on the A40 slip at Oxford Hill, have been put in place.
The incident happened just after 2pm.
