A CHILD suffered a burn injury to their arm in a fire in Witney today.
Fire crews were called to a small fire in the front of a home at Fettiplace Road at 12.45pm.
An elderly woman was also treated for smoke inhalation.
Crews used breathing appratus to tackle the fire.
Witney Fire Station Manager Mike Adcock said: “The occupants of this property were extremely lucky to escape without serious injury, which was down to early detection of the fire by the working smoke alarms that were fitted in the property”
