Oxfordshire's Bradley Smith endured a frustrating final lap as he finished 19th in the Moto2 race in yesterday’s Catalunya MotoGP.
Smith, who started in sixth place, lost eight positions on the opening lap, before climbing to sixth with some superb overtaking.
But he lost control of the bike on a wet corner of the final lap, and although doing well to stay aboard, dropped to 19th.
Stefan Bradl won Smith’s race, with Casey Stoner triumphing in the main race.
