IT IS the end of an era in Woodstock as sisters Dulcie Smith and Ann Grant prepare to weigh out their last quarter of comfits after 37 years.
But let’s hope it’s not the end of the values they have championed.
Dulcies is an old fashioned shop and a favourite with children and adults, including Prime Minister David Cameron.
Its owners also ensured old fashioned values, such as please and thank you, are upheld.
We wish them a sweet retirement.
