OXFORD: An illegal driver who ploughed into a stationary car causing it to knock over a traffic light has been fined.
Muhamed Muhamud, of Iffley Road, East Oxford, hit an Audi A4 on Oxford’s Eastern Bypass at the junction of Horspath Road on Christmas Eve.
The 37-year-old appeared at Oxford Magistrates’ Court yesterday and admitted careless driving, driving without insurance, and driving without a licence.
He was given eight penalty points, banned from driving for a year and told to pay £300 compensation and £85 costs.
