WITH regard to Janice Grainger’s letter (Oxford Mail ViewPoints, May 24) that the people of Kidlington got their green waste bags free.
Are they getting their brown bins free too? Some areas of England are.
It was like rubbing salt into the wounds when I read the letter.
Is Ms/Mrs Grainger living on a pension?
If not, when everything around you is going up but your pension is not in keeping with the same, it seems unfair that we are being asked to pay £35 a year for bins.
I wonder how much it cost to introduce the bag system – then a few years down the line the system is changed.
