THE consortium behind the campaign to reopen the East-West Rail link between Oxford, Bicester, Milton Keynes and Bedford has released a new promotional video.
The five-minute video outlines the benefits the consortium says the project would bring to the regions it serves.
In addition to the main route, the consortium envisages services running beyond Oxford to serve Didcot and Reading, and from Claydon, east of Bicester, to Aylesbury and High Wycombe.
Oxford City Council and Cherwell District Council are consortium members, while Oxfordshire County Council is part of the consortium’s main steering group.
To watch the video and for more details of the project, see the East West Rail website.
