AFFAIRS of state may keep David Cameron away from Oxfordshire more than he would like, but you can’t accuse him of not pushing the county’s produce.
Mr Cameron ordered in ribs from his local butcher in Chadlington and muffins from a Witney firm for the barbecue with Barack Obama.
Last year, of course, he gave the US president beer from Witney as well.
The cynic might say it is a publicity stunt, but we prefer to think it shows Mr Cameron’s willingness to promote the county.
