FIREFIGHTERS battled a blaze in a Chinnor fish and chip shop after a deep fat fryer caught light.
The blaze spread to the extraction system and then to the roof of Kingston Fisheries, in Lower Road.
Two fire engines from Thame and one from Oxford were called to the incident at about 10.30pm last night.
