THE Oxford Mail, a very special and informative paper for local news stories, ran a lucky numbers competition which I entered recently and won.
I am going to share my good fortune with Great Ormond Street Hospital, which I support through fundraising, and also the Horton General Hospital, in Banbury, which I help by selling homemade cards around my village.
It is now my eighth year of doing this, and thanks to more than 2,000 cards sold, the children’s ward has enjoyed lots of chocolate.
All thanks go to my loyal supporters who have made it possible. It’s an amazing achievement.
