CYCLISTS set off from East Oxford yesterday to ride to Wood Festival near Wallingford.
They gathered outside the former Oxford Cycle Workshop store in Magdalen Road before cycling to Braziers Park for the weekend festival.
Festival spokesman Drew Brammer, from East Oxford, who joined the convoy of cyclists, said: “This is a fun, healthy and environmentally-friendly way of getting to the Wood Festival, which prides itself on its green credentials.
“It’s a very hilly route, but fortunately there is a free pint lined up for every cyclist when they arrive.”
The Eliza Carthy Band, Thea Gilmore and The Epstein are among the acts playing at the family-friendly festival.
