A CORONER recorded a narrative verdict at an inquest into the death of a 26-year-old man nine days after a gall bladder operation at the Churchill Hospital.
The inquest at Oxford Coroner’s Court on Thursday heard Bhajan Lotay, from Pegasus Road, Blackbird Leys, also suffered a number of other medical problems including kidney failure, diabetes, heart disease and poor lung function. He also had hepatitis C.
He had an operation to remove gall stones on September 2 last year, but the day before he was due to go home there were complications and he died on September 11.
