EIGHT people arrested after a man was stabbed in an East Oxford park have been released on police bail.
The victim was playing cricket when he was approached by a group of men and stabbed several times in Cowley Marsh Park shortly after 8pm on Monday.
Four men and four teenagers were arrested shortly after the attack on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm.
Det Insp Simon Morton said: “The victim is in a stable condition and his injuries are not life threatening.
“We are still urging anyone with information to come forward and speak to us.”
