W OXON: The identity of a 57-year-old man who died after collapsing in a field near Bampton remained unknown last night.
The man was taken to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford at about 8am on Sunday morning by air ambulance, where he was pronounced dead.
Police said on Sunday there were no suspicious circumstances.
A spokesman for the Oxfordshire coroner said that no inquest had been opened and it was not known whether one would be needed.
