A £40m science centre dedicated to space and unique in Europe was officially opened yesterday.
The International Space Innovation Centre (ISIC) in Harwell will help universities and industry work together to develop space technology.
Universities and Science Minister David Willetts conducted the opening ceremony together with the Duke of York.
