IT has been claimed that the Royal Wedding Bank Holiday may have cost the economy £50m, but let’s get things in perspective.

How much has this Coalition cost the economy? Millions, in fact billions, to bail out Ireland; billions bailing out Portugal, the multi-millions, which will turn out to be billions, trying to get Gadaffi out of power; billions already spent on the Afghan war – with no saying what the end cost will be. Yet people seem worried over a measly £50m.

We should all be worried, especially when David Cameron gives £550m to Pakistan.

That money could have helped to save some of our services. It seems our services don’t mean much – but it would mean a lot if I struck oil in my back garden.

I haven’t got time for the public schoolboys who are running the country. It’s about time they got back on the same planet as us.
