Sir – Along with a horde of neighbours and, I hope, new friends, we enjoyed the wedding day street party which was held at Howbery Farm. I would like to thank all those who went to such a lot of trouble to organise the event, which was well attended, enjoyed by young and old, and went without complaints.
It was such a success that further street parties are to take place, but we won't necessarily be waiting for the next Royal wedding.
