A MEETING will be held at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford tomorrow night to discuss the future of paediatric heart services in Oxfordshire.
The Safe and Sustainable consultation is part of an NHS review into children’s heart services, which has recommended fewer larger centres performing more surgery.
The John Radcliffe Hospital, in Headington, was deemed the least likely to meet the criteria and was ruled out of the running.
But the public has been invited to the meeting to hear how Oxford could still run some services in conjunction with Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust.
The meeting takes place between 6pm and 8pm.
