After another month without a game, Marston Saints returned to action with home game against Radley on a warm morning at Boults Lane.
Saints were quickly into their stride, passing the ball confidently. They made an early breakthrough with a long distance lob from David Bond to see Saints take an early lead.Saints took further control when Josh Josephs picked up the ball outside the area, jinked inside and curled a lovely shot into the top corner of the net.
Defensively, Saints were solid as rock with George Richards in goal, Leo Galpin and Josiah Lyder in command in the centre well supported by Thomas Shirley and Joe Lodge in defence. The Saints Midfield controlled the play superbly throughout the game.
Up front, Arthur Galley was causing more problems for the Radley defence and after putting pressure on the last man, gained possession, strode into the box and finished well to make the half-time score 3-0.
The second half started much the same and as the pressure grew, Saints extended their lead further with goals from Arthur Galley and two more from Josh Josephs to complete his hat-trick.
Radley pulled one goal back with a shot from Tom Taylor.
A very complete team performance. Well done Saints!
