I AM writing with reference to the article Row over ‘tank’ explodes again (Tuesday’s Oxford Mail).
I have driven down St Peter’s Road to see the offending vehicles for myself. They are not at all unsightly (at least no more so than some of the ugly 4x4s and other gas guzzling vehicles parked on and off the same road) and unlikely to cause any more of a blockage on the road than any other vehicle.
If anything, they add character to the area.
Come on residents of St Peter’s – live and let live, for goodness’ sake. Life is too short, surely?
The story directly above this one was congratulating a couple celebrating over 75 years together – now there’s an achievement worth writing in the paper about.
