This award, presented at a recent awards ceremony in Marlow, is a mark of their achievement in balancing occupancy levels with rates offered to business and leisure customers to achieve revenue target and was achieved against the fierce competition of over 40 hotels in The Macdonald Hotel Group around the UK.
The Bear hotel is not resting on its laurels however, the regular mystery guest’s programme, where The Bear sits in the top 6 of the whole group ensures that quality is paramount and that high levels of customer service are achieved.
Furthermore, the hotel has commenced a bedroom re-furbishment programme on completion of which will see each of the hotel’s 54 bedrooms with new bathrooms, bedrooms decoration, fixtures and fittings.
Additionally, the Bear’s restaurant and bar boasts menus that are made up of ingredients sourced from UK based suppliers. This is a strong policy for the whole group ensuring the highest quality of product all of the time.
