THE closed lane of the M40 southbound, between junctions six and seven, will reopen at about 10.30am today.
The lane was closed after a HGV caught fire at about 7.15am.
Highways officials said CCTV cameras show only mild congestion.
Two lanes were closed for about an hour after the incident.
The Highways Agency said it would be on the scene by about 10am, adding that it would take about half an hour to clear the road.
