Was it really 25 years ago that Oxford United won the Milk Cup? It seems like yesterday!
It is great when something such as your Milk Cup 25th anniversary souvenir supplement (Wednesday’s Oxford Mail) is produced, so that us older supporters can relive that glorious day at Wembley.
Seeing the pictures again brought it all back to me.
I will never forget the moment when Malcolm Shotton climbed the steps and held the trophy aloft.
Well done to the Mail for a terrific pull-out. Memories came flooding back for me and many others, I am sure.
Here’s to more Oxford United success in the future.
