CHILDREN are going hopping mad for Easter, hunting for bunnies in the sun.

Waterperry Gardens, near Wheatley, have been holding a Big Bunny Hunt throughout the Easter holidays.

Children have to find the bunnies hidden around the gardens, mark their location on a special map, then claim their prize.

Garden spokesman Susie Hunt said: “Lots and lots of kids have been enjoying themselves, and winning a chocolate prize.

“The weather is amazing and the gardens looks really lovely, so this is a great opportunity to get out and see them.”

She added: “I think it’s nice for families to get outside in the holidays and let the children let off some steam. They all get terribly excited, running around to get their prize.”

Pictured above enjoying their day out were six-year-old Ben Mayer and Olivia Tattersall, seven.

Tickets for the bunny hunt cost £2 and adults pay the £6.10 garden entrance fee.
