As a resident in the Vale of the White Horse I have written to the district council chief executive David Buckle several times about the parking charges in such places as Wantage.
Having received no reply from him I am hoping a letter to you will result in a reply from him.
My complaint is related to the parking meters where no change is given.
This has been described in BBC TV programmes as a rip-off and gives visitors to this area an impression of greed, which is exactly what it is.
For residents it is also a rip-off and my further complaint on this issue is that my emails to Mr Buckle have been totally ignored.
There can be no excuse for this cheap and nasty rip-off and at a time when we are trying to encourage visitors to the Vale, this type of daylight robbery is totally unacceptable.
