ABOUT 500 children at schools across Headington took part in a writing competition organised by campaigners fighting to save the neighbourhood’s library.
Fifty prizewinners from Sandhills, Windmill, St Andrew’s and Wood Farm primary schools collected their awards at Headington Library on Saturday.
Oxford children’s author Korky Paul said: “It was a lovely day.”
