MEMBERS of the Scots Guards brought the sound of the bagpipes to the graveside of Lord Wantage to pay their respects.
The Guards, due to receive the Freedom of the Town in Wantage on May 21, visited Holy Trinity Church, Ardington, on Saturday, on the eve of Lord Wantage’s birthday.
Lord Wantage won a Victoria Cross fighting with the regiment in 1854.
