I WOULD like to reply to the letters about hospital mixed wards.
I am a 74-year-old woman and I have been in hospital three times with heart problems.
I was always put in a mixed ward with 10 beds and I was the only woman with nine men.
It was embarrassing for me as I had to use all the same facilities as the men.
I always felt so embarrassed walking down the ward with all those men looking at me.
I have now seen they have individual wards with private facilities, which I think is excellent.
S HATHAWAY, Appleton
