Police are appealing for witnesses after two teenagers had their cycles stolen from them in Shotover Park yesterday evening.
The boys, aged 13 and 14, were at the bicycle jumps at the park, when they were approached by a group of eight men, aged between 15 and 21.
hey surrounded one of the boys and his bike. When his friend went over to help, they stole both of the boy’s bicycles.
The first bike is a red Verde Theory, with 20-inch wheels, and the second a white BMX.
Anyone who witnessed the robbery, saw the group in the park prior to it, or recognises the description of the bikes, should contact PC Sarah Phillips at Thames police station on 0845 8 505 505.
